Tyler Sullivan, MFT-LP
My goal in therapy is to help relieve tension, fix communication patterns, and repair trust in the relationships that mean so much to us. To be able to communicate and understand these relationship can be a freeing experience. I will provide a safe, non-judgmental environment so that everyone can feel heard and understood.
I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hofstra University. There I was trained in a variety of therapy techniques and modalities to help individuals, couples, and families in need.
I chose this path because I believe love (both familial and romantic) are some of the most fulfilling experiences in life. My areas of specialty revolve around couples but are not limited to them. I tend to use Imago, Gottman, and Emotionally Focused Therapy when working with couples and structural when working with families. I also do work with individuals on whatever problems they might be facing. I am very flexible when coming up with a collaborative to help with any issues that may be effecting your life or relationships.
