My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore the ins and outs of any difficulties they may be facing and looking to improve. I believe it is important to utilize a person-centered approach and collaborate with the client to find out what they are looking to gain from attending therapy so that their goals can be efficiently obtained.
I enjoy working with teens, families, couples and individuals. We will work together to address family conflict, relationship issues, peer relationships issues, life transitions, stress and more. Together we will look at your strengths, expand on them to foster growth, leading to transformation. In any relationship, communication is important.
Life and relationships with others, as well as ourselves, can be full of transitions that seem overwhelming at times, but I believe that everyone is capable of working through their challenges with the right tools. As a therapist, my intention is to provide my clients with the tools they need to improve their lifestyle and relationships. These tools include healthy communication methods, coping skills, and boundaries to progressively move forward. My goal is to also provide a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients while we explore solutions to stress together.
As a Marriage and Family therapist I believe change comes from within you when you are ready. Once you have taken that first step, I will be there to help facilitate your therapeutic journey. Having a safe place to speak openly about what troubles you are facing is my top priority.
My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe space for exploration of any issues you may want to address. The first step towards confronting any problem is acknowledging it exists, then find tools to help in the work for solutions. Therapy is an important and powerful tool to use whether focusing on stress, relationship issues, anxiety, or anything else troubling you.
