My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore the ins and outs of any difficulties they may be facing and looking to improve. I believe it is important to utilize a person-centered approach and collaborate with the client to find out what they are looking to gain from attending therapy so that their goals can be efficiently obtained. Whether you are struggling with overwhelming stress or how to cope with anxiety, depression, work, school, or daily functioning, I will be there to support and assist you in making positive changes to create a more fulfilling and peaceful life.
Specialty areas of my practice are teens to adulthood, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, family conflict, self-identity, LGBTQ+, and animal-assisted therapy. I have over three years of experience working with a variety of issues utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), and a strength-based perspective.
