Hi, I’m Lindsey! I’m an integrative marriage and family therapist, which means that I draw from many different psychotherapy orientations. My work is informed by systemic, psychodynamic, humanistic, and existential approaches. I customize my approach to suit your unique needs, rather than expecting you to conform to a pre-established method. I combine insight-oriented and evidence-based techniques, including Family Systems, The Gottman Method, Imago Relationship Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Gestalt, Internal Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help clients achieve their goals. I am also certified in several alternative energy healing modalities and utilize spirituality and ritual in my own healing process.

My style is direct, warm, and collaborative, with a healthy dose of humor. I create a space in which you feel safe, comfortable, and seen. I take a holistic perspective, prioritize relationships, value cultural sensitivity, and maintain a trauma-informed stance while also applying a social justice perspective. I support and honor everyone who walks through my door, and welcome all conversations and topics.

While I have experience working with individuals and couples of all ages, diverse backgrounds, and on a variety of issues, I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and adults dealing with relationship issues rooted in trauma; mostly dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, infidelity, complex/post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), childhood trauma, and substance use. I am especially drawn to working with clients who have experienced shame and self-worth issues, those who are late diagnosed/adult ADHD and Autism, and existential or spiritual crises.

My goal as a therapist is to help my clients engage with their emotions, build self-awareness and self-compassion, and develop a greater sense of meaning, choice, connection, and authenticity in their lives. Together, we’ll delve into the systems that influence your relationships, untangling complex dynamics and fostering deeper connections. This process empowers you and your loved ones to communicate more effectively, resolve conflicts, and ultimately, enhance the quality of your relationships.

If you are looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you are just ready to move in a new direction in your life, we look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
