“I don’t feel heard,” or “I can’t seem to do anything right,” are common feelings expressed in couples’ therapy. Another client may come confused, “People are telling me I have anger issues.” And other folks feel overwhelmed and stressed, “My life is changing dramatically and I’m not sure what to do next.”
As one who has had many life experiences, I may identify with many of the feelings you are experiencing. Whether it is your relationships, feelings of anxiety or depression, or struggles with the choice’s life has put in front of you.
I am a big believer in using a variety of therapeutic practices that suggest our life experiences, our relationships, and our choices influence us today. Together we will explore your current challenges and relationships using elements of emotionally focused therapy, Internal Family Systems, contextual therapy, and many others.
I’ve had the opportunity of living all over the US. I’ve felt the joy and the hurt of raising a family and being a partner to someone. I’ve worked with folks in all walks of life from different cultures, economies, lifestyles, and perspectives. I love the variety we each bring to our interactions and regardless of your social, racial, gender or spiritual identity, whether you’re in a relationship or just trying to figure things out, I would be honored to walk alongside you through this journey.
