It is always a vulnerable choice we make when we decide to attend therapy. Therefore, it is only natural to look for a safe place to be ourselves. To speak, be heard/validated, and to feel secure. Most importantly, to feel listened to without the fear of judgement. I understand. I aim to provide such a place for you where we can also collaborate, help promote self-growth, and self-exploration within your relationship with yourself or with others. Those are difficult situations to navigate and to find yourselves in and the therapeutic process is a personal journey, so seeking the right kind of therapist is important.
I currently hold a limited permit as a Marriage and Family Therapist and received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hofstra University. As an Asian American, I speak conversational Mandarin & fluent English. I am a DBT trained therapist for individuals, couples, and families and have experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, and more.
My goal is to provide the utmost care utilizing compassion, empathy, and authenticity. I believe that taking that first step of reaching out to someone can be monumental and I will be ready to take that next step with you whenever you are ready to commit to therapy.
